Updated October 3, 2026 with Wizards’ September 28 Mexico timing. Original publication and release-event dates are retained. Store stock and individual event bookings were not tested.

WHY IT MATTERS

Confirm the exact product and current store arrangements: Mexico’s first-week-of-October estimate is not proof of stock, and New Zealand’s rescheduling window is not a booking.

New Zealand: confirm a new event date with your store

Wizards of the Coast’s regional notice says New Zealand Prerelease Packs are delayed. Previously scheduled New Zealand Prerelease events were to be cancelled automatically; the permitted rescheduling window is October 2–8. Check the store’s current booking before travelling.

The New Zealand section says other Reality Fracture products are unaffected. Its specific exception takes precedence over the earlier general introduction, which still describes Prerelease Packs as on schedule in all regions.

A rescheduling window is not a replacement booking. Before travelling, ask the organiser for the new date, whether your existing reservation carries over and how any payment will be handled. The publisher’s notice does not set a universal refund policy.

The wider release still needs a product-by-product check

Wizards’ September 28 update says all Reality Fracture products in Mexico are delayed and expected to reach stores in the first week of October. That is an expected arrival period, not confirmation that a particular shop has received stock. Mexican players should contact their local store for revised Prerelease scheduling.

The set’s advertised tabletop release date was October 2. The current regional notice continues to distinguish delays for particular products elsewhere, including Collector Boosters, Bundles and Commander products. Passing the release date does not resolve each product’s delivery status.

For a preorder or online opening, record the product name and region, then ask whether the seller has the stock in hand. A booking page that still shows an old date is not confirmation that the product has arrived. Keep any revised delivery promise with your order details.

Update history

October 3: added the September 28 Mexico arrival estimate and updated the release-date wording. September 25: added the September 23 New Zealand notice. The original regional announcement was published September 11.
