Updated October 5: marked the announced September 28–29 Commander deck order window as closed and changed the opening and checklist framing accordingly. The September 28 update added the publisher’s September 27 Oddlands details. Original publication and source-update dates are preserved. No current storefront stock, individual shipment or checkout is verified.

WHY IT MATTERS

The announced Commander deck order window has ended. Check your own order’s shipping estimate, and assess any later deck or Oddlands listing on its separate terms.

Event date: . This article’s publication date is shown separately above.

The announced order window has ended

The announced order window for Secret Lair Commander Deck: Odds and Ends ended September 29, 2026, at 8:59 a.m. PT. It opened September 28 at 9 a.m. PT. Wizards said orders placed within that window would be fulfilled; this historical commitment does not establish whether a new order can be placed today.

The announcement distinguished a limited quantity for immediate shipping from additional orders expected to ship in July 2027 in North America and August 2027 in the EU and UK. Those remain the announcement’s expected shipping months, not promised delivery dates or verification of an individual shipment.

If this deck is intended for a gift or a scheduled game night, put the fulfillment information beside the order deadline. Securing an order during the window and having the deck available for a particular occasion are separate decisions. Confirm the information attached to your own order before relying on either.

What the announced edition contains

The announced price is US$149.99 for a ready-to-play, 100-card Commander deck led by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. It includes 12 foil cards with new Ricardo Cavolo artwork, 12 foil basic lands and 76 nonfoil reprints. The reprints carry a Planeswalker stamp.

For an artwork collection, start with the treatments rather than the card names alone. Decide whether your goal is the complete coordinated deck or selected illustrations. That makes it easier to judge a later single-card listing: the familiar game piece may exist in several editions, while the particular artwork, finish and stamp determine which copy belongs on your list.

The Oddlands: check what the deck already includes

Wizards’ September 27 update identifies the deck’s basic lands as The Oddlands and announces separate Chaos Vault drops alongside it. Each of the five drops contains ten copies of one basic land type, with announced US prices of $29.99 for nonfoil or $39.99 for foil. The Commander deck already contains four foil Plains, four foil Islands and four foil Swamps from those same versions.

For an artwork collection, a separate drop is therefore not automatically another illustration to add. Match the land type, art and finish against the twelve basic lands in the deck before ordering both. The announcement distinguishes the twelve newly illustrated nonland cards exclusive to the Commander deck from these shared basic-land versions.

The Commander deck’s 24-hour fulfillment commitment should not be assumed to cover The Oddlands. The announcement states that window and the 2027 shipping expectations for the deck; check the separate drop’s own availability and shipping information when ordering. The announcement does not establish current resale values or guarantee stock at the time you visit.

A checklist for existing orders and later listings

Review the official decklist against the cards you already own and the way you want to use the product. For play, consider whether you want this assembled deck. For an art-focused collection, note the specific versions you want to keep. The announced deck price alone does not establish the value of its individual cards.

For any later listing, check regional availability, the displayed price and currency, applicable charges and the fulfillment information. This briefing relies on the announcement; it does not report a completed order or a tested checkout. Keep an order confirmation and expected shipping information together so that a later timetable change is easy to identify.
