One Piece ST-37 and ST-38: choose the deck identity before the bonus pack

The Desert Princess and the Pirates and Baroque Works share a December 18 date and the same listed contents. Their different colors and themes are the useful starting point; the bonus pack does not establish a complete set.

Primary product pages checked October 16, 2026. Dates, MSRP and contents are announced manufacturer details; no deck testing, bonus-pack opening, live availability or retail checkout was independently tested.

WHY IT MATTERS

Choose between the exact deck themes and product codes first, then record the separately listed deck, DON!! cards, Bonus Pack and playsheet. Keep regional play eligibility and final-product caveats separate from the announced release date.

Event date: . This article’s publication date is shown separately above.

Two themes with the same listed package

Bandai’s English product pages schedule both ST-37, The Desert Princess and the Pirates, and ST-38, Baroque Works, for December 18, 2026, at a listed MSRP of US$16.99 each. These pages serve the English NA/EU/OC/LATAM/ME site; they do not establish the date or price of every language edition.

ST-37 is described as a Red/Blue deck featuring the Straw Hat Crew and the Kingdom of Alabasta. ST-38 is Blue/Black and centers on Baroque Works. Those identities are a useful first choice for a character collection or a deck project. The manufacturer’s play descriptions are not results from independent deck testing here.

Read the product-specific contents

Both pages list one constructed deck containing 51 cards, ten DON!! cards, one three-card Bonus Pack and one playsheet. A 51-card deck is not a promise of 51 different card identities: the pages warn that multiples may appear and that assembling a full set may be difficult.

For a collector comparing the products, save those separate components rather than treating the deck and Bonus Pack as one undifferentiated checklist. The retrieved pages do not enumerate a complete Bonus Pack checklist or give its collation. This report therefore does not promise a particular bonus card, finish or complete bonus set from one purchase.

The pages also contain a general starter-deck explanation illustrated with ST-21 Gear5 and explicitly marked as reference material. Its mention of three Basic Rule index cards should not silently replace ST-37 and ST-38’s own product-specific playsheet listing. Use the contents beside the exact product code when checking an offer.

Release day and tournament eligibility are separate checks

Both product pages state that included cards become tournament legal seven days after the release date in the reader’s region, with a separate statement allowing them from the pre-release date at the local game store. Do not compress that wording into a universal claim that every event permits the cards on December 18.

If playing is part of the purchase goal, ask the relevant store which event and regional schedule apply. If collecting is the goal, keep the announced product date separate from when a particular retailer ships or actually has stock. No store inventory, order or tournament eligibility decision was tested for this report.

Decide what would complete the project

A fan of one crew may need only the matching starter; a player may prefer to review the eventual card list before choosing. Neither goal requires assuming that a bonus card will cover part of the purchase through resale. The two MSRP figures are product prices, not card valuations or delivered quotes.

Before buying, match the ST code, language, contents and actual seller terms to the project. Bandai cautions that illustrations and product details may differ from the final item. Keep that limit visible while planning from the current pages rather than treating promotional art as a final card-by-card guarantee.
