Source-based reporting by RippingPatrol Editorial, researched September 29 from Bandai’s September 24 notice. The stated effective time had passed when researched; no account access, registration or check-in was performed.

WHY IT MATTERS

Check the residential address in the Bandai Namco ID account linked to TCG+ before your next tournament signup or last-minute check-in.

Check the account linked to TCG+

Bandai’s September 24 notice sets a residential-address requirement for all BANDAI TCG+ users from September 28 at 7 p.m. PDT, or September 29 at 02:00 UTC. It says users without a registered residential address will be unable to apply for new tournaments or use last-minute event check-in.

The update belongs in the Bandai Namco ID account linked to TCG+. Residential addresses cannot be registered or changed in the TCG+ app. The notice says an already registered address will appear on the Address Management page; users without one should follow the registration instructions. A parent or legal guardian must complete registration for a child account.

Separate account readiness from deck readiness

For One Piece players planning an event, this adds an account check alongside checking the deck list. Open the linked Bandai Namco ID website before relying on a new tournament application or last-minute check-in. An existing TCG+ account alone does not establish that the address step is complete.

Bandai directs address-registration questions to Bandai Namco ID Support and says TCG+ Support cannot handle those inquiries. This is an announced account requirement, not a claim that RippingPatrol tested a registration, account change or event check-in.
