Substantive timing clarification October 13, 2026: the October 12 scheduled sale is now historical. Exact card identities, editions and announced US-dollar product prices were rechecked against the September 30 primary announcement. Current stock, regional checkout terms, restocks and shipping remain unverified; original October 5 publication date retained.

WHY IT MATTERS

Define the two-card artwork goal first, then choose the matching editions and assess the complete delivered cost.

Event date: . This article’s publication date is shown separately above.

One illustration, two product choices

Wizards’ September 30 preview identifies a two-card Labyrinth scene: Jodah, the Unifier appears as Sarah, Champion to the Lost in Should You Need Us; Muxus, Goblin Grandee appears as Jareth, Goblin King in Fear Me, Love Me. The drops are part of the Corn Maze sale announced for October 12 at 9 a.m. PT. That scheduled date has now passed; the announcement does not establish current availability.

For a small artwork collection, that pair is a useful boundary. Write both Magic card identities and their Labyrinth names on the checklist, then choose a finish for each. A search for the character alone leaves room for confusion between the card you want, another printing of its underlying game piece and a whole product containing it.

Price the pair before expanding the project

Each of these two six-card drops is listed at US$29.99 nonfoil or US$39.99 foil. Buying one of each in a matching finish therefore totals US$59.98 nonfoil or US$79.98 foil in announced product prices, before any additional charges.

The arithmetic describes the two complete drops, not the value of the two scene cards. Decide what you will do with the other ten cards: keep the coordinated artwork, play them, trade them or leave them outside your collection goal. Do not silently count an unconfirmed future resale as a discount on the purchase.

A cart is not a completed collection

The announcement says products are secured only when checkout is completed. Its scheduled October 12 sale date has passed, but this article has not verified current stock, a successful checkout or a later restock. The listed prices remain the announced product prices, not a live availability quotation.

Keep the two-item plan visible when reviewing current offers. If only one preferred edition is offered, decide whether you still want that half by itself before switching finishes or adding unrelated products. A completed order and the later arrival of the cards are separate steps.

Keep a later singles purchase equally specific

If you consider buying the scene cards separately later, compare actual listings for the intended versions and finishes. Check photographs of the offered copies and keep their conditions visible in the comparison. Two cheaper cards with mismatched treatments may not produce the display you had in mind.

Use the same stopping rule whichever route you choose: the collection is complete when the chosen pair is in hand and checked. A larger bundle can serve a broader collection, but it should answer a broader goal.
