WHY IT MATTERS

Target P-160 Vivi by its actual printing, then confirm the store’s event format. Preserve the Four Emperors versus Straw Hat wording difference and TBD prohibition list until authoritative details resolve them.

Record the participation card before assuming an event format

Bandai’s English Pirates Party 2026 Vol.4 page lists a November 1–December 31, 2026 period and places a Nefeltari Vivi promo card and Welcome Pack 2026 Vol.1 under Participation. These are the announced rewards, not evidence that a particular store has kits, that entry is open or that a specific quantity is available per player.

The linked official sample illustration identifies Vivi as P-160 and labels it a Character card. That is a more precise collecting target than the character name alone: do not substitute a Nefeltari Vivi Leader card or a differently numbered promo in the same checklist row. The illustration shows English text; this report has not inspected an actual event handout or verified its finish.

The two themed-Leader descriptions do not match

The page’s format overview says the themed battle permits only Four Emperors-related Leader cards. Its later Themed Battle Event Details section instead says only Straw Hat Pirate Crew-related Leader cards may be used, followed by a list of 25 codes and permission to use alt-art versions. Those are different descriptions of the restriction on the same page; this report does not silently choose one as the resolved rule.

If attending with a particular deck, ask the store which format it is hosting and how it is applying the current official Leader list. Use the exact Leader code in that question. A broad character theme or the presence of a Vivi participation promo cannot establish that a given Leader is eligible. The illustrated P-160 Character card is not itself the Leader restriction.

Limited Deck Battle also has an unfinished list

The Limited Deck Battle overview says commonly used Leaders will be prohibited based on the environment before the event begins, while the dedicated prohibited-card section currently reads TBD. Do not turn that placeholder into a confirmed empty ban list or assume that a deck legal in another format is automatically eligible here.

The practical sequence is to find a participating store through Bandai TCG+, confirm that store’s selected format and participation arrangements, then check the exact applicable Leader or prohibited-card list. The page’s general beginner-friendly framing does not replace those checks or guarantee a particular card reward.

Keep an acquisition record that can be checked later

For an event-promo project, save the event title, announced period, store, participation route and actual card received separately. If a copy differs from the sample, preserve its identifier and image rather than assuming the promotional illustration is a guarantee of every printing. No print-run, rarity, secondary price or demand claim is established by this notice.

We will update this report if Bandai resolves the two themed-Leader descriptions or replaces the TBD prohibited list. Until then, the uncertainty belongs in the event plan rather than being filled with an unofficial interpretation.
