WHY IT MATTERS

Match the exact autograph issue and card grade, then read each swatch’s description. The $93,000 result includes buyer premium and does not turn all three pieces into game-used material.

A completed result for the /10 autograph issue

Fanatics Collect reports that a 2001 Upper Deck MJ’s Back Jerseys Triple Michael Jordan autograph card, #CCTA1 and numbered to ten, sold for $93,000 on September 25, 2026. September Premier lot 177 identifies the card’s condition as BGS 8.5 NM-MT+. The reported total includes the buyer’s premium.

The grade describes the card. The reviewed lot does not establish a separate autograph grade, so an “auto 10” should not be added to this result. Likewise, the auction total is a buyer-side reported figure, rather than the consignor’s proceeds or a valuation of every example in the issue.

Three swatches with different material histories

Fanatics describes an on-card signature alongside material associated with North Carolina, Chicago and Washington. It identifies the UNC and Bulls pieces as game-used, while the Wizards piece comes from a summer practice session. That distinction is more informative than a blanket “game-used triple patch” description.

For a memorabilia-card collector, the useful question is what supports each piece of material. A multi-swatch design can place several histories on the same card without making them identical. Read the full lot description and the offered card’s reverse, and retain the precise wording with your collection record. A grade or a striking patch design does not, on its own, tell you the material’s origin.

Here, the swatch descriptions are attributed to the auction venue. RippingPatrol has not physically inspected the card or independently traced the garments. The result therefore supports a reported sale with a documented lot description, rather than a new authentication claim.

Build a comparison around the complete issue

When comparing another example, keep CCTA1, the Jerseys Triple autograph designation, the /10 limitation and the card grade together. “Michael Jordan Upper Deck jersey card” leaves out details that distinguish this object from many other releases. A different autograph format, material configuration or condition grade needs its own comparison.

Store the sold date and premium-inclusive amount beside the source URL. If you later assess a direct offer, compare the total cost on the same basis, then consider the particular copy’s documentation and condition. This single result establishes neither a current price record nor a wider change in demand for Jordan cards.
