The terms behind the numbers
PackLab: fees, sellback & shipping
- Sellback & withdrawal
- Ordinary shop sellback pays Unlocked Sparks at the displayed percentage of operator card value, with product and price-spike limits. Locked purchased or promotional Sparks cannot directly buy singles or pay postage.
- Fees
- 499 Sparks ($4.99) per card; Canadian addresses add 500 Sparks ($5) per card; cards worth $100+ add 5% insurance/handling on live value. Postage uses Unlocked Sparks or direct card payment.
- Physical delivery
- Shop pulls confer physical-card rights only at shipping redemption, when corresponding cards are sourced. US/Canada eligibility and identity checks apply; Arcade pulls never ship.
- Availability
- 18+; physical fulfilment US/Canada; service restrictions apply.
Packs.com: fees, sellback & shipping
- Sellback & withdrawal
- The official FAQ states that Coins cannot be withdrawn or converted back to cash. Displayed card values include taxes and handling and may differ from resale values elsewhere.
- Fees
- The site says deposit and withdrawal Coin amounts are displayed upfront. Card Coin values include taxes and handling. International shipping charges and customs can add to the cost.
- Physical delivery
- Pulled cards can be shipped from the Backpack. Official site advertises near-mint cards and tracked fulfilment.
- Availability
- FAQ lists USA, Canada, UK, Europe, Australia and selected other countries; confirm exact shipping country and cost before deposit.
Compare the outcome, not just the opening
The best comparison starts with what you want to keep. A physical card for your binder, a graded slab in a vault and a digital game item are different products, even when the opening animation feels similar.
Read each platform’s source-linked review before committing. Product-specific terms take priority over a broad comparison, especially where a platform offers several pack formats.
